this is the book i'm currently reading. it's really great so far, cos i think, above all, it's a social comedy.
the reviewers use the word "delicious" social comedy and i couldn't find a more apt word. it's so cool to see how acutely and precisely and subtly the author describes the social interactions of English society in the Napoleonic Era.
There are really funny points here and there, and their treatment of magic and fantasy is really cool...
it gets pretty sian if u read for long periods of time, put every time u pick it up again, it becomes fresh and compelling--like "refreshing" the story tempo!
this is definetely a book i wanna finish cos its really unique...
